Southeastern Film Critics Association announced their winners for the year 2014. Wes Anderson's bittersweet zany-ride, "The Grand Budapest Hotel" took awards for best picture, original screenplay and ensemble. Richard Linklater was awarded best director for "Boyhood" while Patricia Arquette also won best supporting actress for the film. "Force Majeure" won foreign language film prize while "Life Itself" was given best documentary. The dry spell was broken and Julianne Moore finally won best actress prize for "Still Alice" after having lost many to actresses like Rosamund Pike and Reese Witherspoon in the recent days.
