Florida Film Critics Circle Awards 2014

Florida Film Critics Circle just announced their award winners for 2014. "Birdman" won the best picture and Michael Keaton won best actor for the film. On the other hand, Richard Linklater won best director for "Boyhood" which also won supporting actress for Patricia Arquette. That is all. The critics at FFCC really spread their love. "The Grand Budapest Hotel" was the biggest winner of the night with three awards in categories, original screenplay, production design and ensemble. "Gone Girl", "Whiplash" and "Interstellar" all won two awards each. Check out the full list of winners below:

Best Picture: Birdman

Best Director: Richard Linklater for Boyhood
Best Actor: Michael Keaton for Birdman
Best Actress: Rosamund Pike for Gone Girl
Best Supporting Actor: J.K. Simmons for Whiplash
Best Supporting Actress: Patricia Arquette for Boyhood
Best Original Screenplay: Wes Anderson for The Grand Budapest Hotel
Best Adapted Screenplay: Gillian Flynn for Gone Girl
Best Foreign Language Film: The Raid 2
Best Animated Film: The Lego Movie
Best Documentary: Life Itself
Best Cinematography: Hoyte Van Hoytema for Interstellar
Best Art Direction/Production Design: The Grand Budapest Hotel
Best Visual Effects: Interstellar
Best Score: Mica Levi for Under the Skin
Best Ensemble: The Grand Budapest Hotel
Breakout Award: Damien Chazelle for Whiplash
Outstanding Contribution for the Advancement of Cinema in Florida: Borscht
