The Master emerged as the big winner at Kansas City Film Critics Circle Awards 2012. It won Picture, Supporting Actor and Original Screenplay. The Master needs all the love it can get in the Awards Season. It is a divisive film, even more so then The Tree of Life which had huge supporters. Ang Lee won Best Director for Life of Pi while Jennifer Lawrence once again won Best Actress Award.
