San Francisco Film Critics Circle Awards 2012.

The Master once again won the top prize, this time with the San Francisco Film Critics Circle Awards that awarded it Best Picture and Best Actor for Joaquin Phoenix. Other surprise winner was Helen Hunt in the Supporting Actress category, she needs to win more awards. Hunt is the most nominated actress so far in the category this year for The Sessions but this is her first win. With The Master claiming the top spot, Zero Dark Thirty won in Best Director category for Kathryn Bigelow and in Original Screenplay for Mark Boal. Emmanuelle Riva won Best Actress for her stunning portrayal of a dying aged woman.
