ASC Awards 2016

Chivo with his ASC Award

And the American Society of Cinematographers award their 2016 winner... Mr. Emmanuel Lubezki for his work in The Revenant. This is his 5th win with this group, 3rd consecutive, last year winning for a movie by the same director and is sure looking to repeat that at the Oscars. The Oscars which DIDN'T award him for his masterful work in "The Tree of Life" which the ASC did btw. 

 Best Cinematography: Emmanuel Lubezki, The Revenant

Spotlight Award: Adam Arkapaw, Macbeth & Mátyás Erdély, Son of Saul (tie)
