For Your Consideration 2012

               Okay so now that Academy Awards nominations announcement is coming near and with these other awards, not the critics one becuase most of the times they acknowledges the most deserving nominees but the Guild awards happening i am seeing some notable snubs that are really bothering me so here are some of my For Your Considerations.


Best Picture:

I don't know the exact number of nominees they would have but there are some movies deserving to be one of the 5-10's that i don't quite see happening but a humble request to the Academy to at least give them a chance.

1. Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows 2
2. Drive
3. 50/50
4. Martha Marcy May Marlene
5. The Tree Of Life (With the absolute 5 favorite pick on their ballots, this amazing movie might be in some danger)

Best Director:

1. Terrence Malick - The Tree Of Life
2. Bennett Miller - Moneyball
3. Nicolas Winding Refn - Drive
4. Steve McQueen - Shame
5. Lars Von Trier - Melancholia

Best Lead Actor:

1. Joseph Gordon-Levitt - 50/50
2. Michael Shanon - Take Shelter
3. Gary Oldman - Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy
4. Ryan Gosling - Drive/The Ides Of March

Best Lead Actress:

1. Kristen Dunst - Melancholia
2. Elizabeth Olsen - Martha Marcy May Marlene
3. Charlize Theron - Young Adult
4. Rooney Mara - The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo

Best Supporting Actor:

1. Nick Nolte - Warrior
2. Patton Oswalt - Young Adult
3. Andy Serkis - Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes
4.  Alan Rickman - Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows 2
5.  Viggo Mortenson - A Dangerous Method

Best Supporting Actress:

1. Melissa McCarthy - Bridesmaids
2. Jessica Chastain - (Wish she gets at least 2 nods) 
3. Vanessa Redgrave - Coriolanus
4. Shailene Woodley - The Descendants (just in case if)

Best Screenplay Original/Adapted:

1. A Separation
2. 50/50
3. Bridesmaids
4. Beginners
5. Win Win
