Independent Spirit Awards 2011 Nominations

                   The moment i was waiting for came today when the nominations for Independent Spirit Awards were announced. i really like them and think that they are quite real and honest in giving nominations to the movies that deserve it but also to those movies that you never think would when anything big. well this year, the silent black and white movie and the apocalyptic psychological drama The Artist and Take Shelter both got 5 nominations, leading the race.
The Descendants, Drive, and Beginners with 4 each. happy to see movies like Margin Call, Another Earth, Drive and 50/50 getting recognized while the other obvious choices like The Artist and The Descendants were there with no mention of The Tree Of Life or Moneyball and George Clooney but some surprising and quite exciting love for Beginners. and i am also happy for Win Win which deserves its Best Screenplay nod.
