National Society of Film Critics awarded Haneke's masterpiece Amour with best picture along with director and actress. On the other hand, The Master won supporting actress and cinematography while Lincoln won Actor and Screenplay. Also a surprise win for McConaughey for both Bernie and Magic Mike, he was out of the focus for the majority of the awards season in between.
