USC Scripter nominations were announced with this time, six nominees making the list due to a fifth place tie. All the Oscar nominated Adapted Screenplays made the cut along with The Perks of Being a Wallflower. USC Scripter awards both the writers of the adapted work and the original one whether its a book, play or anything. Lincoln seems like the frontrunner as of now, no one can resist awarding Tony Kushner, Doris Goodwin for a Spielberg movie about Lincoln.

-Novelist Yann Martel and screenwriter David Magee for Life of Pi
-Doris Kearns Goodwin, author of 'Team of Rivals: The Political Genius of Abraham Lincoln', and screenwriter Tony Kushner for Lincoln
-Stephen Chbosky, author of the novel 'The Perks of Being a Wallflower', as well as the screenplay based upon the book
-For Silver Linings Playbook, author Matthew Quick and screenwriter David O. Russell
