The Las Vegas Film Critics Society announced their award winners of the year. SPOTLIGHT was given best picture along with its director Tom McCarthy winning best director. This journalism drama also earned original screenplay and ensemble prizes, as it has so many to this point. MAD MAX: FURY ROAD actually tied with Spotlight in terms of total wins. It won best editing, costume design, visual effects and action film. Lots of categories with this group.
