NYFCO announced their winners for this year with "Boyhood" taking the top prize. It tied with "Birdman" for the most wins. Boyhood also won best director for Richard Linklater and supporting actress for Patricia Arquette. On the other hand, Birdman won awards in screenplay, cinematography and ensemble categories. Eddie Redmayne won his first critics award of the year for his performance in "The Theory of Everything". Jack O'Connell was awarded breakthrough performer for his work in "Starred Up" as well as "Unbroken". Kudos to team "Two Days One Night". And J.K. Simmon continues to rule!
