The nominations for the "British Academy Awards" were announced earlier today. The acclaimed sci-fi drama, "Gravity" got the most nominations with 11 while both "12 Years a Slave" and "American Hustle" got 10 nominations each. "Philomena" had a strong showing as did "Captain Phillips". "Behind the Candelabra" as well which was released theatrically in UK. "Dallas Buyers Club" was completely snubbed specially for the two actors nominations. So did Robert Redford for "All is Lost" and some others.
