"12 Years a Slave" was the big winner at the Las Vegas Film Critics Awards where it won a total of 5 awards. That includes picture, director, supporting actress, score and costume design. Emma Thompson interestingly won actress award for her performance in "Saving Mr. Banks". Matthew McConaughey has been gaining some momentum as well in the actor category. As usual, "Gravity" won many of the technical awards while Spike Jonze was given screenplay award for "Her".
