Chicago Film Critics Association announced their winners and as expected, "12 Years a Slave" was the big winner. The Steve McQueen directed film won 5 awards. "The Act of Killing" was awarded both documentary and foreign language film prizes. While Spike Jonze's "Her" won for its original screenplay and score.
