Boston Online Film Critics Association Awards 2013

The supposed Oscar frontrunner, "12 Years a Slave" won 6 awards from the BOFCA. That marks the first best picture win for this film. Steve McQueen already won director prize from the NYFCA and does it again here. It also has its first wins in other categories as well like lead actor, supporting actress, editing and original score. Animated film category saw a tie and Blue is the Warmest Color might not be in the running for an Oscar but its winning from the critics. Before Midnight got a very well-deserved screenplay win while Inside Llewyn Davis is giving Gravity a run for its money in the cinematography department.
